Stress can manifest in many different ways, sleepless nights, anxiety, IBS and in some cases can lead to depression and anti-depressant medication.

Especially at this current time with COVID and uncertainty over jobs whether you feel safe to go out, safe at work and the stresses related to life not being like it was 6 months ago.

It has been said by Mental Health UK that 16% of the population are affected by stress and anxiety at any one time.

If you suffer for a prolonged period it can lead to health problems such as a decreased immune system and cholesterol levels increasing.  Also, migraines, insomnia, and indigestion.  As your body tries to deal with the stress your cortisol levels increase and can cause your BP to go up.
